Feel free to swap days around however you like. I made the quick, weeknight-friendly dishes for school and work, and saved the more hands-on, weekend recipes for when you’ve got a little extra time.

It’s a super versatile meal plan, packed with protein and veggies, and comes with options to suit your family’s tastes. Bonus: we’ve included classic Lebanese desserts, pantry staples, and make-ahead tips to keep your week running smoothly and deliciously!

Monday

Cozy tomato-based stew with beef, chicken, or lamb and your choice of vegetables (okra, peas & carrots, potatoes, white beans, or green beans).

Wednesday

A zesty, comforting chicken bake, a welcome change after two days of eating rice and stew. Serve with a fresh Rocca salad, or substitute with any other salad you prefer, like my Beet and Feta Salad.

Comforting vegetarian meal. The pilaf is the main star, the yogurt salad keeps it fresh, and the lentil soup adds warmth and extra protein. Optional: serve with any kind of chicken for even more protein.

A cucumber & yogurt salad is so light, refreshing & served cold, makes it a perfect summer side dish. Can be paired with Mujadara, rice or grilled meats.

Turkish Lentil Soup (Mercimek Çorbası)

This creamy vegan lentil soup is my favorite to enjoy at Turkish restaurants. It is loaded with vegetables and so flavorful from all the spices and dried mint. It is delicious served with some crusty bread and a squeeze of lemon juice.

Saturday (Breakfast)

Traditional Lebanese breakfast topped with tomatoes, parsley, cucumbers, scallions, and olive oil. Serve with warm pita, creamy labneh and olives. Great weekend starter!

Bonus Prep Tips

Sunday Make extra manakeesh, fatayer, or lahm bi ajeen for Monday breakfast or school lunches. These can also be frozen as meal prep.

Monday: Double the Yekhne, leftovers make Tuesday effortless.

Thursday: Prepare extra kafta so you can make Arayes the next day for kids’ lunch or after school snack.

Friday: Tomato bulgur pilaf can be made ahead and reheated.

Saturday: Prep chicken and fattoush ahead of time to make your Saturday easier.
