Batata Harra which translates to “Spicy Potatoes,” is a very popular Lebanese mezze. Air-fried crispy potato cubes are tossed with fresh cilantro, crushed garlic, and a kick of spice for a delicious appetizer.
1tsp.Aleppo Pepper (red pepper flakes, or fresh chopped chillis)

Instructions
Peel and wash the potatoes. Dice them into small cubes, a little less than 1 inch in size. Soak in cold water for 15 minutes. Drain the water and pat the potatoes dry with paper towels.
Toss the potato cubes with 2 tablespoons vegetable oil and 1 teaspoon of salt. Empty into air-fryer basket and cook on 390F for 25-30 minutes. Make sure to shake the basket every 5-6 minutes to cook evenly.
Chop the fresh cilantro and crush the garlic using a mortar and pestle.
In a large skillet, heat the remaining 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Sauté the crushed garlic for 2 minutes on medium heat.Add the Aleppo pepper (or pepper of your choice) and sauté for 30 seconds before adding the cilantro. Sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add the cooked potatoes and toss together over the heat for 2 more minutes. Season with more salt if needed. Lastly, finish the dish with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the potatoes. Serve hot.
