Hi! My name is Iman. I am a Lebanese-American foodie currently residing in Philadelphia, PA. I run this blog with the help of my husband who just so happens to be a Web Designer/Developer. (Lucky me!)
If you know anything about Lebanese people, a major part of our culture is food! Just watch Anthony Boudain’s “No Reservations” episode “Back to Beirut.” Cooking and baking have always been a passion of mine since I was a young teenager. I would stand in the kitchen with my mother just watching her cook dinner on a daily basis. Just normal 13-year-old activities, you know. I come from a family of wonderful cooks so I have always had the best teachers. I’m here to share my recipes that I have picked up from my mother, aunts, grandmothers, and such! Being born and raised in America, of course a lot of my recipes are American as well.
I am no professional, and not all my recipes are authentic. I have tweaked them here and there to what works best for me. I am just a Wife and Mom foodie sharing her versions of her favorite foods.
I was born and raised in Massachusetts but moved to Philadelphia when I got married back in 2014 to my wonderful husband. We have the cutest little girl born summer 2016. I have a Bachelors’ degree in Psychology and worked in Human Resources for a bit before having my daughter. Now I am lucky enough to be a stay a home mom. I’ve been wanting to start a blog for a couple years now, but was preoccupied with working FT and everyday life. Now that I am home all day, I have no more excuses and decided to take the plunge! I really hope you all enjoy my recipes.
All of these recipes have been tried and tested by family and friends.
Thank you so much for visiting my website, if you ever have any questions about a particular recipe, please leave me a comment and I will do my best to help you out!
